Atlantic Beach Urban Farms Tour Dec. 10

         The MNC will visit the Atlantic Beach Urban Farms in Jacksonville on Tuesday Dec. 10.  The “Farms” is a longtime beaches resident with a passion for growing only the cleanest, most delicious green vegetables. They grow in a climate-controlled, pristine greenhouse, 365 days a year with technology to produce a large volume of food in a small amount of space. 

          They hope you enjoy eating their greens as much as they enjoy growing them.  The tour of the farms will be followed by an optional lunch consisting of a Chicken Caesar Salad with beverage and dessert available for $15.00.  Payment for the lunch will be collected on the day of the tour.

          Tour goers should meet in the parking lot at the FBGC where our luncheons are held for a prompt 10:00 AM carpool departure on Dec. 10.  Registration for this tour should be done on-line by Dec. 6, and please indicate if you will be joining the lunch.
