Beer on tap for April 15 MNC luncheon
The Club’s April 15 luncheon meeting will feature Simon Muldoon who runs the Mocama Brewing Company which moved to 8th Street in the past year. Simon will provide a tasting of three of his beers at the meeting as well as discuss the attributes of the more than 16 beers his operation is capable of producing.
All of those attending the March luncheon had been vaccinated against Covid-19 underscoring the safety of in-person participation. The Golf Club has just increased its limit for luncheons to 75 people with the dining room set with up to seven people per table, or 66 people with six per table. We will welcome up to 64 members plus 2 speakers for this event.
The meeting will also be available on the GoToMeeting program. Details will be provided for those registering. The in-person meeting will begin with social networking at 11:30 with luncheon served at noon, followed by a business meeting. The speaker will begin his presentation at about 12:30.
To register for the meeting, click on the register box below. Members who wish to attend the luncheon can do so by clicking on the “Members in Person Meeting and Lunch” when they register. When the capacity is reached, a waiting list will be created, which will allow members to be confirmed as earlier registrants cancel their registrations. Those preferring to participate virtually should select the “Virtual Meeting Participant” option. There is no cost for this option, which is also available to non-members. Cost to attend the golf club luncheon is the usual $15 which can be paid by credit card when registering (click “Pay online”), or by clicking on “Invoice me” and sending a check to MNC PO Box 16291, Fernandina Beach, FL 32035 to arrive by April 10. Given the 50 person limit for in-person attendance, members’ registrations not paid by then will be cancelled to make room for waitlisted members.
