‘Travel in time of COVID’ topic
For MNC Sept. 16 luncheon
Angela Wallace Pierson and Eric Pierson, of Wallace Pierson Travel, will present "Travel in the time of COVID" at the Men’s Newcomers Club luncheon, Thursday, Sept. 16, at the Fernandina Beach Golf Club.
Their presentation will include such issues as: The safest places to travel now, current traveler problems, how to minimize the impacts of those troubles, where to find the latest information on travel restrictions in various countries/places, and what documents people should bring, such as original documents, paper copies, photos on their phones including proof of vaccination.
Angela has more than 20 years in the travel industry between Sales and Marketing for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company and VP of Sales and Marketing of Wallace Pierson Travel (rebranded from The Travel Agency). Eric is now the Business Manager of Wallace Pierson Travel after his own 20+ years of work at various hotels and resorts around the country. Angela and Eric traveled extensively with their two daughters prior to COVID. The family actually spent almost a full year away from home, visiting all seven continents while working and homeschooling. They returned to the states just before the world shut down at the start of the pandemic. They are excited to share their insights and knowledge of the travel industry, sharing the trends seen today along with predictions and expectations as we move forward.
There will be a social half-hour beginning at 11:30 a.m. At noon there will be a short business meeting with a buffet lunch. the Pierson’s presentation will begin about 12:30 p.m.
To register for the meeting, click on the register box below. The Golf Club has a capacity of 75 for lunch. Once registrations have reached that limit, a waiting list will be maintained.
Cost to attend the golf club luncheon is $15 which can be paid by credit card when registering (click “Pay online”), or by clicking on “Invoice me” and sending a check to MNC PO Box 16291, Fernandina Beach, FL 32035 to arrive by Sept. 11. Given the 75 person limit for in-person attendance, members’ registrations not paid by then will be cancelled to make room for waitlisted members.
