Highlights of MNC Dec. 16 luncheon

               The Men’s Newcomers Club will be treated to music and sing-alongs by Victorian carollers at the luncheon, Thursday, Dec. 16, at the Fernandina Beach Golf Club.  There will also be a lottery drawing for 12 bottles of wine from around the world.

           The Memorial Carollers of the Memorial United Methodist Church in Fernandina Beach have been providing special occasion music for about 15 years.  The Carollers is led by Dr. Joan Averett, director of music and worship arts at the Centre Street church. 

           There will be a social half-hour beginning at 11:30 a.m.  At noon there will be short business meeting, including the wine drawing followed by a buffet lunch. 

          The Club expects all attendees to be fully vaccinated from COVID 19.

          To register for the meeting, click on the register box below. The Golf Club has a capacity of 75 for lunch.  Once registrations have reached that limit, a waiting list will be maintained.

          Cost to attend the golf club luncheon is $17 which can be paid by credit card when registering (click “Pay online”), or by clicking on “Invoice me”  and sending a check to MNC PO Box 16291, Fernandina Beach, FL 32035 to arrive by Dec. 11.  Given the 75 person limit for in-person attendance, members’ registrations not paid by then will be cancelled to make room for waitlisted members.

          The club’s $15 dues for 2022 are payable now.  Members that have not yet accepted the 2022 waiver form on the Web site will have the opportunity to sign a form at the meeting.
