          Dawn Grant of Amelia Shotguns Sports will be guest speaker at the Men’s Newcomers Club luncheon Thursday, Jan. 16, 11:30 a.m., at the Fernandina Beach Golf Club on Bill Melton Road.

          Ms. Grant has spent years training top athletes from many sports. She pioneered hypnotherapy in shotgun sports. In 2007 as a board-certified hypnotherapist, she trained professional PGA Golfers. She is known to having helped V.J. Singh beat his putting stupor and win the Fed Ex Cup using her unique mental training techniques.

          From golf she started working with professional clays competitors adding hundreds of clays shooters to her practice over the years (as well as elite athletes in other sports such as rifle, pistol, equestrian, tennis, baseball and football).

          Amelia Shotgun Sports in Yulee is home to her Mind Training School with lectures, workshops, clinics and retreats. She works with shooters of all experience levels.

          There will be a social half-hour beginning at 11:30 a.m.  followed by a buffet lunch at noon.  Our luncheons are open to members who may also register one male guest, and to non-member males who are considering joining the club.

          To register for the meeting, click on the register box below. The Club has a capacity of 120 for lunch.  Once registrations have reached that limit, a waiting list will be maintained.   Cost to attend the golf club luncheon is $23 which can be paid by credit card when registering (click “Pay online”), or by clicking on “Invoice me” and sending a check to MNC PO Box 16291, Fernandina Beach, FL 32035 to arrive by Jan. 11 Given the 110-person limit for in-person attendance, members’ registrations not paid by then will be cancelled to make room for waitlisted members.
