Walk With The Goats: Jaybird Hammock Farm

This unique tour will take us to the Jaybird Hammock Farm, just off Nassauville Road in Yulee where we will walk a nature trail with a herd of goats and naturalist-farm owner Tina Jenkins. She will share her knowledge of the farm, animals, wildlife and vegetation as we leisurely stroll a trail that encircles the 2 ponds, and past the donkey’s enclosure to a giant grandmother oak tree and into the pine forest. 

It is suggested that you bring water (or beverage of your choice) and bug repellant. Wear comfortable clothes & shoes that you don’t mind getting dirty.  Please do not carry snacks or food of any kind, the goats can smell it and they will try to take it.

Warning:  The ground is uneven, and goats may bump into you or jump on you while walking. Participants should be steady on their feet.

                The cost for this tour is $12.00.

Guest parking is by the barn, the barn gate is a few hundred feet before the GPS address and marked with a Jaybird Flag. 

You will be asked to sign a separate waiver of liability for JayBird Hammock Farm upon arrival at the farm. 

To register, you must be a member in good standing and have accepted the Liability and Photography Release waiver.  If you have not yet accepted that waiver you may do so on our website by clicking HERE.  (You may need to wait a day or two after signing the waiver to register as your status in the system must be updated manually).  Sorry, no spouses or guests allowed for this event.
